Job Description:

Summary:

The Business Analyst is a resource for sales and replenishment as well as supporting functions for the office. This position will require frequent access to Retail Link, collaborate on POS/inventory analysis, completing templates, and support analysis around relevant key performance metrics. This position will work to support Sales and Replenishment groups along with office support as part of a dynamic team charged with optimizing sales every day.

Duties:

  • Complete support responsibilities for the Bentonville office.
  • Collect, analyze, and provide POS data to increase sales productivity, support forecast process and assist in business planning.
  • Work alongside Sales Analyst and Replenishment Analyst to understand weekly reporting requirements becoming a back-up for the team.
  • Item setup/change forms (data sync & retail link).
  • Serves as a key resource for presentations for both internal and external customers.
  • Other duties assigned by management.
  • Periodic travel might be required.

Experience and Skills:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Working experience in sales analytics role.
  • Well versed in Wal-Mart Retail Link retail reporting portal (DSS).
  • Basic ability to analyze data and make recommendations.
  • Strong team-work; be able to provide suggestions when necessary; work with minimal oversight.
  • Written and oral communication skills
  • Should be goal oriented, confident, outgoing, with a desire to succeed.
  • Experienced user of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stoop, reach, bend, stand, walk, lift, pull, push, grasp, talk, hear, see, and lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision such as reading handwritten and or typed material and must have the ability to focus.
