Job Description:

Summary:

The Engineering Data Support Analyst provides support to the entire Engineering team for daily activities within the department.

Duties Include:

Great Plains Support

  • Component BOM revisions that occur through the transition process.
  • Update component naming to meet current standard.
  • Maintain part obsolescence by inactivating slow moving or obsolete part numbers.
  • Reset GP BOM communication with Part Tracker when errors occur.
  • Monitor and resolve weekly Great Plains accuracy report.
  • Support work center setup and labor routing implementation.

Part Setup Support

  • Finalize new component setup and maintenance.
  • Perform initial skid layout analysis for Packaging Engineer to finalize.
  • Labor standard search tool updates.
  • Aid in establishing a document control and maintenance procedure.

Packaging Team Support

  • Support ship testing process by helping track and monitor progress.
  • Develop folders and documents to support automated QCS process.
  • Support Gold Standard builds by coordinating material acquisition and setup.

Engineering Team Support

  • Maintain weekly and monthly engineering team metrics.
  • Track and support engineering change process.

Experience and Skills:

Qualifications:

  • Must be outgoing, creative, accurate, organized, good listener, team player, professional, and possess good follow-through skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to demonstrate a high degree of quality and accuracy in work performance necessary.
  • Must possess the ability to prepare written reports and correspondence; effective presentation skills helpful.
  • Must be able to effectively manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Microsoft Office skills required.
  • Great Plain experience is a plus.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stoop, reach, bend, stand, walk, lift, pull, push, grasp, talk, hear, see, and lift up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision such as reading handwritten and or typed material and must have the ability to focus.
