Job Description:

Summary:

This position is responsible for leading Sales and Marketing for Gorilla and O’Keeffe’s within the Industrial MRO and STAFDA Channel. This position is responsible for leading and developing a long-term strategic partnership between assigned/targeted partners and company while ensuring budgeted sales, profit, and key objectives are attained.

Duties:

  • Retail/Distributor Partner Strategy: Develops strategy and business plans to further refine and leverage growth in channels, partner with accounts to achieve optimized results across brands.
  • Organization Leadership: Role model for leading the company's strategic interests and values. Promotes a culture of continuous learning and improvement, enthusiastically embraces change.
  • Relationships: Creates trusting/strong relationships with key decision makers and has deep understanding of customer strategic interests, priorities and growth opportunities.
  • Selling: Knows how to spot and capitalize on opportunities and can secure buyer and senior management support for key business opportunities including regional/district managers.
  • Collaborative Leadership - Work with teams inside and outside of Gorilla/O’Keeffe’s to optimize sales, incremental opportunities, leveraging analytics/replenishment/marketing/operations.
  • Line Review Preparation/Business Development - Lead and work with teams in the development and production of all sales presentations, promotional submissions, and collateral materials.

Experience and Skills:

Qualifications:

  • BS/BBA Degree in business related field.
  • 5+ years selling National Accounts experience.
  • Experience with hiring and managing National/Regional Brokers - Rep Agencies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Must be team player, with a highly-collaborative style.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, plus a creative and adaptable attitude.
  • Entrepreneurial/Ownership mentality.
  • Travel required approximately 30%.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stoop, reach, bend, stand, walk, lift, pull, push, grasp, talk, hear, see, and lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision such as reading handwritten and or typed material and must have the ability to focus.
