Job Description:

Summary:

The Manager of Pricing will act as the primary liaison between Finance & Sales related to national accounts pricing and promotions to more efficiently analyze customer and channel profitability.

Duties:

 

  • Maintain, execute and analyze customer specific contract pricing and rebates.

  • In coordination with National Account teams, collect and retain customer rebate agreements and results.

  • Lead & develop approval process & management of line-level promotions through ERP system.

  • Create and monitor reports & ROI of promotions across all channels.

  • Create a process map of deduction process to understand cross-department hand-offs and issue areas.

  • Work with Sales to proactively communicate approved promotions and programs.

  • Work with Sales Support team to develop exception reporting on PO's & approval workflow SOP.

  • Engage cross-functional teams from EDI, to Customer Service, Ops & sales to create workflow when pricing errors occur.

  • Act as the primary liaison between Sales and Compliance & Finance on penalties, discounts and deductions.

  • Be able to lead cross-functional projects as needed and work within all levels of the organization to achieve results.

  • Working through margin improvement initiatives.

  • Supervise and coordinate pricing enhancements with IT.

  • Performs other duties as required.
     

Experience and Skills:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field coupled with 5+ years of professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Experience with SalesPad or Great Plains a plus.

 

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stoop, reach, bend, stand, walk, lift, pull, push, grasp, talk, hear, see, and lift up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision such as reading handwritten and or typed material and must have the ability to focus.
