Job Description:

Summary:

The Sales Support Coordinator provides excellent customer care to customers in a timely manner with an emphasis on providing accurate information, effective communication and issue resolution. This position is also responsible for the timely submission of customer orders and managing customer expectations.

Duties:

  • Provides customer care to customers in a timely manner with an emphasis on providing accurate information, effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Provides product knowledge, pricing and availability for retail customers.
  • Manage approved pricing strategies for retail partners.
  • Owns website management for retail partners for our "digital excellence" initiative.
  • Manages customer expectations and resolves problems, as needed.
  • Maintains vendor portals.
  • Trade Show Planning.
  • Corrects EDI rejections.
  • Assist as the liaison to operations for retail partner shipping requirements.
  • Creates work instructions for each account (Playbook).
  • Eliminate fines and charge backs of retail accounts.
  • Tracks and implements customer specific promotions.
  • Communicates any current shipping information on delinquent orders with customers.
  • Contacts retail partners regarding order discrepancies, inaccurate information, holds.
  • Provides promotional materials to stores.
  • Identifies necessary training needed at the store level so orders process flawlessly.
  • Improves process flow between the business, field sales & retail partners.
  • Creates forms to assist store associates in the ordering and quoting of units and as educational tools.
  • Promotes product launches.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field coupled with relevant internship experience; or 1-2 years Inside Sales, Account Management or Sales Management experience without degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent customer focus
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability up to 10% travel for trade shows
